So beautiful. A great little place to walk or hike and be in touch with nature. I love it most on a sunny morning. The light through the trees and reflecting on the lake is breathtaking.

Love round lake, the trail and the dam! Friendly people often hiking, walking their dogs, jogging etc . The various trails are gorgeous! Jurassic looking forests, rushing water from the creek and the pothole falls are stunning! Just want to add an update... 8/14/22 the last 2 walks in the park involved some very heavy noises in the brush. Today we heard the noises and thought someone was clearing brush or taking down tree branches, but then leaves, branches and I think rocks started flying at us in one small spot. We actually had to run and something nearly got my head. I don't believe they were being tossed from the path above cause it seemed like stuff wasn't at much of an angle. There were no voices, just things breaking through branches and hitting the ground in quick succession from in the trees above in just a small concentrated area. I don't know what to think. A little leary of returning now though. Still gorgeous, but I don't want to go alone anymore.

Great place to get away from it all without going too far. It's right across the street from Lacamas Park but not nearly as crowded. Nice little hiking path around the lake and great swimming when it's hot out. There's even a rope swing from one of the trees to jump into the lake. Plenty of parking. If the parking lot is full, so is the lake. 😎

Great hike with parking lots close to the trailhead. Dogs are allowed on leashes and licensed. Very peaceful and serene place. A few people were on mountain bikes, but some spots were very tight and hard to ride well. This trail is more suited for walking around Round Lake.

A lot of great trails to walk, hike, run and even bike. Water is running low this time of year but that just creates opportunity to walk on places you might not be able to. The water is beautiful but has alge bloom so keep your self and pets out of it. Highly recommend for people of all ages.
