Black Beach is a beautiful, peaceful and enjoyable place to stay. We love coming here in our Motorhome. I cannot say enough nice things about the owners and staff. Restrooms and showers are very clean.

Highly highly recommend!!!!!

Spent the weekend here, drive up thru Sherman pass was beautiful. Hit fire smoke on the way in, pretty bad. Room was comfy especially the bed, best night sleep long time. Husband rented a boat and fished all day, I stayed in room and caught up on sleep and read a book. They have bikes to use for free, swimming for the kiddos. View is spectacular. Lots of new upgrades couldn't care less that their was no TV in room. Had fun!

We stayed a Black Beach RV park as a result of our reservations at the local State Park were canceled, last minute, do to a water availability problem. I mean the day of our scheduled arrival we were canceled. Black beach had space available for us and our two friends in side by side by side spaces, with full hook-ups, ample room and very clean. Easy access to the lake for launching the kayaks and a large grass field for viewing the lake action. Several modern boat slips and fishing piers. Nice ramp and even small pontoon boat rental. If I must mention a problem, it's only the severity of the slope for setting up the RV's on the 3 sites we were given. About 6" low in the front. All else was super, even the well stocked camp store.

We all would come back and stay again.

They're in the process of upgrading the rooms, the upgraded rooms are fantastic and have a wonderful price! The staff is so friendly. Every day, painted rocks are hidden for kids to find. When the kids find them, they can be returned for a piece of candy. They have kids and adult bikes available for free, a fun addition to camping and swimming! Kayak and boat rentals are extremely affordable! We absolutely loved our stay, we will be back!

Cabins are fresh and clean, the AC was inadequate for the space. Nice location with a pretty setting. Camp store for forgotten necessities and ice, etc. There's a small beach area with lots of children. It seems to be more of a family fun than quiet getaway kind of place.
