Canoeing, boating, swimming, fishing, hunting and wildlife viewing are all popular activities for visitors. Over 450 campsites available. Camping cabins are available for rent!
Definitely will be back! The owners are very accommodating! The cabins are cute and clean! Very well priced 55$ a night. No electric in the back cabins. They do have camp sites as well
This campground was awesome - and affordable. We managed to get a primitive spot on Labor Day weekend last minute - literally RIGHT ON THE LAKE. Set up a couple tents and hammocks. The lake is beautiful - there is a boat launch on site. I was only there for one night so I don’t know all the ins and outs - but all bathroom facilities were super clean. People were having fun for sure, yet being respectful. I plan on going back to learn more about this place - it was new to me - but you could tell it was a lot of families secret get away. Lots of RV camping sites it seemed. Signs said they had cabins and other things available as well.
The park is always clean and quiet. I love that it's right on the water with beach access!
Beautiful views from the cabins on the East side. They are pretty private and it's nice because we don't drink or party and sometimes it's hard to separate from others who are out partying all night. Cabins do not have electricity or water but it was fine for what we needed. It says on the website that the one we rented sleeps six but there were just two beds. One was a bunk bed and another a full sized single. Rentals are a little pricey for what's included. It was $140 for two nights and you cannot put any additional tents or anything on the property without paying extra. Showers take tokens, which you have to buy from the office. Tokens are $0.25 each and get you about 5-7 minutes per token. That's not expensive but for the overall price, showers should be included. There are outhouses located throughout the park and most of them are fairly clean but do not usually have toilet paper. Overall we had a good experience but there are some things that could be improved.
