We have a pickup truck camper. After we were all set up management came and told us that we had to turn around and back in. Our only view is out our back. So instead of watching freighters go up and down the River, our view is the back of somebody's camper. Campground has no reason for back in only, but it's required.

Aune Osborn is one of my favorite campgrounds in the country. Very clean and well maintained, perfect location and great staff. I even love the showers. The gorgeous view of the St Mary River and the ships headed to and from the locks is icing on the cake.

I love this place. The grounds were clean and our spot was spacious. The caretakers were super friendly and pleasant, and very easy to work with. The view was wonderful and we heard barges honking their horns at night. They have a dumping station, close to a dock to launch boats. The bathroom and showers had a code locking system, and were very clean and roomy. Was busy but very quiet. I have never seen a dog without being on a leash. Mostly travel trailers.or RVs but I did see a few tents.

First time at an RV park. Seems typical. Back-in only sites that are pretty close together. 3pm check-in and 12:00pm checkout. Large ships coming through 24/7, so you will absolutely hear freighter/ferry horns at all hours. Folks are really into the boats here, so they tend to gather along the shoreline as they come through.
