Located just a few miles east of downtown South Haven, and Lake Michigan. Our 50-acre country retreat has something for everyone! With about 30 acres of cleared land and 20 acres of woods all adjoining the famous Kal-Haven Trail which links South Haven and Kalamazoo. We offer wooded primitive tent sites, pull-through RV sites with full hook-ups and a dump station located at the exit, beautiful locally-built cabins for up to 8, and a few different vacation rentals with all the comforts of home! Our clean and handicapped-accessible bath facilities boast independent showers with changing rooms, large format tiles on the floor, and locally produced oak and hickory on the walls. We also have a store that offers our guests and trail riders cold drinks, snacks, Palazzolo's frozen treats, firewood, ice, and much more.
This was our 6th year coming here from Indiana. We love the owners as well as the family atmosphere this campground has. We love seeing all the improvements and add ons they have come up with throughout the years as well. We will continue to camp here and support as much as we can! See you next year!
I can’t say enough good things about this campground. If you want a quiet and peaceful place to stay look no further. The staff and owners are amazing. They will treat you like family. I’ll be coming for year to come as long you they stay open. Thank you so much for a great place to camp and relax.
Great RV and general camping place (listed as hotel). Hope they add more RV spots in the future as they just have this circle of full hook up pull thrus.
It is right on the KalHaven Trail but it is currently being paved. Their Halloween event was fun, lots of trunk or treaters.
If it's been rainy, their will be a lot of mud holes in the road. My suggestion to the owners would be to try and smooth them out or invest in gravel.
I've stayed here twice and will likely come back again.
They waited for me until after 9 PM to be sure I got checked in. OK! Excellent service. These owners are so considerate and accountable, they deserve to be praised. This is the most peaceful campground I’ve ever stayed at, clean, and well organized. The camp store is stocked with favorites and gifts galore from local artisans. The coffee offered to patrons in the morning is only the best brand.I love this place!!!
I visited during the summer and was very pleased with my stay. Bathrooms are modern and clean. Lots of things to do on site. The camp store was well priced and the staff are super friendly. I stayed two nights in a tent.
