Very primitive private campground open to the public, only 5 sites. Gets very busy in the summer, so please check for availability before planning to stop. Email and phone number are listed.
Close to very nice waterfalls, large campsites. Large committee area.
Private but not very clean. Many people have taken advantage of this location and trashed the place with beer cans and cigarette butts. It's a absolute shame. Nice swimming holes, waterfalls and hiking trails.
We love going here every year! Been a tradition since my daughters 2nd birthday. Quiet, clean and next to the falls. Plenty of privacy and opportunities to hike the trails. I grew up in Alsea and this is one of my favorite places to escape too.
I love this simple little campground. It's got some good hiking trails that go through the campground leading you to some awesome waterfalls along with the lovely sounds and scents of Oregon's beautiful outdoors :-) I was a little disheartened to see some disrespectful individuals driving around gates and being quite obnoxious while we were there, but other than just being annoying they didn't bother our group or anyone directly. And that's no fault of the campground. The sites are pretty roomy and spaced out from one another. The couple bathrooms are vault toilets and spaced out a bit as well. There are 3 restrooms for the 6 total spots. Each spot has a table a fire pit and water,a overall great trip.
Only limited sites available but they are well maintained with outhouse. Beautiful trails that lead to quite places and a fabulous waterfall
