Marys Peak campground is on the highest peak in the Oregon Coast Range. Here you’ll find a quaint campground nestled among Douglas fir, noble fir and western red cedar trees. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring. A vault toilet is provided but there is no drinking water. Just down the road from the Marys Peak Day Use Area, this peak has awe-inspiring views from the land to the sea.
West of Corvallis, Oregon off Highway 34. From Corvallis, Oregon drive 14 miles west on Highway 34. Campground found near peak.
Worth the climb on the well-groomed trails
For the breathtaking 360 views.
Natural beauty..... when one side of the sky is night and on the other side you can see the sunrise that’s what Mary’s peak is all about . There is a parking lot but the best view is hiking through the trail to the peak where you not only see the exotic views but also the mesmerizing atmosphere above the clouds gazing stars and sun moon at the same time . But be prepared to grab all your blankets n winter wears as its shivering cold out there and yes the hiking is just about 15-20 mins .
Great views. It’s about a 10 mile drive from the main road up to the top. Take your time driving up there. Road is narrow and winding. It’s all paved though.
Once you get to the top there’s tons of parking. Restrooms are at the parking lot as well. There is also a trail only accessible by foot that leads from the parking lot to the top where a radio tower sits that offers even more amazing views. There’s even a picnic table up at the top
Definitely will return.
Easy hike from the parking lot. Getting to the top is well worth the gradual sloping trail. There’s also a nice scenic trail I f you want a little more challenge located before top parking lot/next to the camp site.
