Very friendly town. great place to ride atv/utv, nice park. Clean well maintained. The camp host seemed to think she was the warden of the prison. No smiles, no interaction, very strict. A bit of the Barney Fife attitude
Horrible camp host, absolutely disrespectful and rude in every way possible. It's no wonder that on a nice weekend the entire park is empty but yet all the other camp areas around the town are packed full. Used to be a great place now we'll avoid from now on.
Incredible views. Self guided tour of an old mining area and supporting architecture.
I have camped at Tourist Park on Memorial Day weekend most of my life. I arrived this summer to find the campground closed until Memorial Day. What a disappointment! Vehicle after vehicle arrived & had to turn around to leave. What a missed opportunity for Mackay.
