From jct I-84 (exit 26) & US 20-26: Go 100 yards E on US 20-26, then 100 yds S on Old Hwy 30, then 1/8 mi S on Towns Circle.
It is so convenient off the freeway and still very affordable. They have done major updates and opened more space
Constant road noise then the train several times a day. We stayed 3 nights and had friends visiting so we were put in a corner space across from the office, right beside the driveway. As if the constant road and train noise weren't enough we had constant resident traffic.
My wife and I had a great 3 day weekend camping by the lake. Hasn't gotten a chance to take advantage of the fishing although there's a nice walking path we enjoyed.
We recommend this place!
The fishing pond was quite disappointing. You really can’t fish. The vegetation growth is too much around the bank and you’re not allowed to enter the lake. Nearby there is another lake part of a park and there are signs warning about toxic algae. If it’s in that lake, it’s in the Caldwell one so it’s best you don’t come in contact with the water anyway. We wouldn’t have known that if we didn’t go to that park. The River access they show on their site map is not true. There are a bunch logs and brush so you can’t actually reach the river. The green belt trail was decent to ride our bikes on for a bit of outdoor activity. The office person was nice. The laundry room was as expected. It was a fine place to stay since we needed hookups for a couple days, just highly disappointed with the lake.
Very nice campground! Only stayed one night but it was clean and comfortable. The laundry room was very nice and affordable. Nice young woman at the front desk.
