Great little lake, can get overrun on weekends. I went during the week for three days, only seen a couple girls horse back riding. I also lived on fish from the lake
Went here for a hike. I didn't actually stay the night. The campground does not have any restrooms or other facilities as it is too remote. The area is very scenic and great for the low intensity hiker. Be sure to bring bug spray as the mosquitoes are persistent and numerous. Also, be sure you have a vehicle that can handle the dirt road leading to the campground.
Nice lakeside spots with a well-maintained gravel road. Trails around the lake with plenty of fishing spots. Excellent cellular service via T-Mobile. Please pack out your garbage!
The wife and I took a scouting trip to the lake in September 2022 from a camp site about a mile away. We found nobody there, and evidence of major partying going on. Trash galore for sure. Until the US Forest Service brings the hammer down on this place and does a bit of grading and garbage pickup, pick a spot away from the lake.
Beautiful secluded little lake with many wonderful dispersed campsites. We loved waking up in nature, surrounded by wildlife. Worth the drive up there. Great place to take your ATV as well. Many trails to be explored.
