Leisure Oaks Park

The manager was nice when we checked in, they are old school (cash or money order), rent plus deposit because you pay your own electric. We paid for a month. We're from out of state so I wanted to take care of any refunds before leaving. My husband decided to leave a day early and manager was not on site. I called her to let her know we're planning to leave but she doesn't trust no one to handle the finances. However, she sent a guy to check our electric meter and told me she's just gonna mail me a check. A month later when she mailed the check and I had a screenshot of it coming on that day. The mail carrier didn't deliver it. I reported it to the post office but it'll be considered a lost mail. I sent the screenshot to the manager and shes suspecting me of scamming her on how I have a screenshot but didn't have the mail. (It's called informed delivery on USPS). She said I will be responsible for the stop pay of reissuing a check to 30 dollars. Though it wasn't my fault. Several weeks later and she kept saying she will send my check on a Monday. I called her again and she was rude to hang up on me after saying that I should pay for the stop pay because it was my post office at fault then hung up on me. I will never stay at places like this again. They locked the bathhouses at 8pm by a man because I was using the showers and a man talked from the door telling me to turn the lights off when I'm done. If he is feeling lazy, he will lock the doors before 8pm.
