Beautiful land!!! Great experience with the Elk prairie and the volunteers working there were very friendly and informative.

It was after season and there wasn’t many visitors/campers, there were hunters.

Me and my father go off grid camping. This is 1 of our favorite spots. My uncle passed away a few years back, and this is where we spread his ashes. We call it Ole Joe Holler in his memory. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Very clean, beautiful scenery, and tons of Elks and Bison to see! Even got to see some turkeys! Glad we made the stop on our trip across to the west coast! The Golden Pond Visitors Center has the larger gift shop and is also the planetarium.

Beautiful and peaceful scenery all around! We drove all the way to the top from Dover, TN and the amount of wildlife we saw was incredible. Plenty of eagles, great opportunities for bird watchers. Would also be a nice place to have picnics or lunches, as there were many stops with those designated areas. Would highly recommend the planetarium. It was very informative! Lots of great places to take photos, and to learn about local history.
