We had to stay here for 10 days in between the closings of our houses, and Lazy llama was very accommodating. The campground is very clean and quiet, and the shower house and laundry area is very nice and always clean. What really puts this campground over the top is the kindness of the owners. They really do care about their guests and go above and beyond to show it. Thank you again!
The llamas are far away in a pen and u can’t even see them or pet them unless u go all the way to the fence and they don’t even come over to u. And the camp store is never open. The camping station is good but the website lies and the name lies bc the llamas aren’t part of the campground and they haven’t updated their website.
Pulled in at check in time, and there was a flatbed trailer parked in our spot. I called mgmt twice with no answer, so I parked in the next available pull-through. Mgmt finally calls me back and blames the flatbed on a resident, but doesn't offer to move it or even apologize. No one ever came by and there is no place to check in. There is no camp store. The llamas are up the hill and seemingly not associated with the campground anymore. Woke up this morning with the water shut off to the campground, but no warning or any communication about what happened. Left mid-morning and never did meet anyone who worked there. When we stayed last September, it was great. Mgmt/owner must have changed over because this place has gone downhill.
I cannot say enough GREAT things about this campground. The bath house showers are the best I have ever had at any campground. They also have a wheelchair accessible shower. Conveniently, the bath house and laundry are connected. I believe at least 4 or 5 washers and dryers. Never had to wait, all guests are respectful of each other. You also get a security key so only those that should be in there are, and you can feel safe using the amenities later in the evening if needed. All great full hook up sites. They have back in and pull through and can accommodate those really big Class As. Even a few tiny homes were at lots. There are 3 lanes/entrances to the campground, and I was in lane 3. I would choose lane 3 again as it is nearest to the bath house and laundry. But all lanes are good to choose from. The woman that met me from the campground even backed my rig in for me because I was struggling so bad! Everyone here is kind, respectful, helpful, etc. As a solo female camper safety is key, and I absolutely felt safe my entire stay. My neighbors were amazing. Also, THERE ARE LLAMAS. They were out today near the garden and a play area for kids. Also, they are very family friendly! Lots of kids and also pet friendly. Ideal place for my stay. Thank you! I will be back!
