Lander City park is well maintained and well used by the friendly locals. RV park along a beautiful creek with walking trails. Tent campers have a lush green lawn to set up on. There’s a well maintained restroom with running water and flush toilets. Cell signal is great! A dumpster is available along with multiple trash cans and dog poop stations. Super quiet and safe. Less than a mile from Main Street. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic! We are here on July 4th weekend, it's full of cars, campers, tents and a few motorhomes. Everyone is quiet, respectful and friendly. Parking is right alongside the Popo Agie river. There is shade available and a great park to walk through, awesome kids playground and on the riverside there are plenty of walking trails to explore. It's FREE and you can stay for 3 nights. Town is very walkable. Love it!

Such a great park! We stopped on a road trip for a break and wish we had more time to play. This park is thoughtfully laid out for bigger and younger kids. There are bathrooms available and lots of shade!

Nice park in town, with FREE camping! Very scenic. My only complaint is a 500,000 megawatt floodlight on a pole that cycles on & off every 2 minutes, all night long. But.... a FREE place to camp in town :-) Thank you, City of Lander!

We travel and most city parks don't have much to offer. I was surprised by how much there is to do here. There's a little trail that you can walk. You can go hangout in the river. There were fishing spots as well. There's also free camping for three days. There's no hookups. But we saw ton of tent campers, car campers, travel trailers, motorhomes. The park is clean. Some nice views. TONS of mosquitos, you need bug spray lol. They also have free concerts during the summer! We missed Margo Price but I'm a Rayland fan and a huge Liz Cooper fan. So I'm excited to see them tomorrow. The stage is a small size but it's all shaded and you can bring your own chair or stand around.
