From Troy, MT, take US Rt. 2 west 10.3 miles to State Rt. 508 (Yaak River Rd.). Turn right and go 24 miles to campground sign. Turn right into campground.
Recently stayed at the Whitetail campground. The camping site was spacious and the facilities were the cleanest of any campground I have been in. Kudos to the campground host when some loud campers came in late one evening and for keeping the sites so well maintained.
Beautiful campground along the yaak river. Very quiet. Not much river access but beautiful nonetheless. We stayed in the yurt and had a wonderfully peaceful weekend. The hosts were very nice.
