About Campground

Come stay with us on the beautiful Kootenai River in northwest Montana. RV site, tent sites and cabins are available in a scenic wooded location along the Kootenai River just two miles west of Troy, Montana on US Hwy 2.

Improvements are made each year, including the addition of WiFi and a newly remodeled restroom/shower house in 2015. Some of the upgrades from previous seasons include a new well for greater water pressure, a solar water pre-heater to ensure hot showers, new fire rings and bbq grills, new picnic tables and new towels and linens in the cabins. We will be selling beer, wine, and cigarettes by 4th of July weekend

Located in scenic western Montana, the campground is surrounded by the Kootenai National Forest and bounded by the Kootenai River. A wide variety of outdoor recreational activities are available in the Kootenai including fishing, hiking, backpacking, and hunting. The Kootenai is one of Montana's treasures, with extensive beauty and recreation without the crowds found near the national parks. Book your next vacation or come visit friends and family today! We look forward to your visit.

Just got back from our vacation and had to leave a review.

This was such a great stop we added 2 more night's to our stay.

The host's were so nice. When we checked in I asked them about fishing. Chris let me know about a local guide and even got in touch with them for me. He was great with a hike idea for one day and the fishing trip was awesome. We would for sure stay here again.

This is truly the best campground we have come across... we have traveled over 40 states plus lots of Canada. This place had the cleanest and fanciest bathrooms we have seen yet. The owners greet you like they are old friends of yours. First time I've ever been escorted to my site and given a tour. The store has so many options and open till 9pm. Close to the river, you can walk down and walk along the rocks. The owners are fantastic!!!

The cleanest and neatest, place we've ever stayed. We stayed in a cabin and there wasn't anything they were missing. They accommodate you in every way. Clean, coffee makers, dishes... everything. Super short walk to the river, just beautiful. The owners are 2 of the nicest people, that take pride in making your stay, perfect. Bathrooms were beautiful and clean. I really can't say, enough. You couldn't be disappointed here. Laundry facilities,.. we cant wait to go back. Hands down... THE BEST place we've ever stayed at.

We stayed in the campground, we have a 26ft travel trailer. the park was perfect for our set up but we did see a few other bigger campers in the park. The hospitality was amazing, the park manager was so friendly and accommodating. They have a small little store in the office for some much needed items if need be. we had a great time will definitely be back soon!!

Best place ever! So super clean and very well maintained. And Chris and Marcey are the most friendly and accommodating hosts ever. We've camped in a lot of campgrounds. Never this clean and rarely so friendly. It is a great location for day trips to the swinging bridge, the lake, or the cedars. And we got tips on what to check out while we were out. The road is loud but walking under the bridge is really cool! And the store has quality souvenirs and a little bit of everything you could need! Thanks for a wonderful weekend!
