This campground has been wonderful in the past as you can see from older reviews. But this recent trip we took at the beginning of June was less than stellar ONLY because of the camp hosts. The campground itself is still beautiful but the bathrooms are gross and the camp hosts are not being diligent at all about keeping them clean. Also the hosts were very scattered and seemed to be confused about whether you had paid and mixed up our tickets a few times. Maybe get different camp hosts and we will be excited to come back!
We’ve been here in several occasion always clean and maintained , with that being said this trip was not a pleasant as in the past , my dog found a used condom, let’s just say I was not happy with the find . Bathroom door wouldn’t latch in the upper campground we moved to the lower camp next day bathrooms could use a lot more attention air fresheners are not going to do the trick .
This is a wonderful campground. No showers but it's right on the river with a beautiful view of the water and wildlife. Even had a pair of bald eagles diving for fish that I watched right from my campfire . Perfect!!
Very clean and well-kept park great camp host bathrooms are cleaned regular although pit toilets great river access
