About Campground

Knotty Pine RV Resort, the gateway to the Uinta Mountains, is situated on the banks of the Upper Provo River. The river offers premier, blue ribbon trout fishing, close to Utah’s major cities. Rainbow and brown trout reach record lengths in the river, with a typical fish running 18 inches or larger. The river is continually stocked. As a result, the pristine waters of the Provo River provide exceptional fishing, recreation, and outdoor adventure! The park is surrounded by groves of maples and hundred-year-old junipers.

Deer and elk abound in the adjacent terrain, making the park popular with members who like to hunt. There are hundreds of miles of off-highway vehicle trails, accessible from the campground, and more trails a short 10-minute ride to Soapstone Basin. Knotty Pine Resort is a quick drive from Provo and just about an hour outside of Salt Lake City. Make Knotty Pine RV Resort your base camp for your next adventure.

Not too many places were still open this time of year (Oct. 20th) so that was nice. The rv park is quiet and by the river, but you can't see the river from the camp sites. Nice fire pit but no grill. Club house is nice but video game and playing pool cost. Since the place was so empty, we asked if we could check out an hour later than 11:00 am. They said yes, but it will cost $25.00. Before we drove there, I asked if the hot tub was open. They said to ask the pool guy while we were here and that he would probably turn it on if we ask early enough. We asked in the morning but the office gal said no emediately. She didn't even ask the pool guy.? We still had fun though and it's a pretty nice place.

The location can’t be beat, so close to the Uinta Mountains, fishing, snowmobiling hiking, all the amenities and more.

We have been full time RV’s here for a year and could not be happier. It’s a gorgeous and peaceful park with wonderful management that welcomes you like family. The park is quiet and clean, we have great neighbors and we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. After the hustle and bustle of work & travel it’s a sigh of relief and a melting of stress whenever we get home.

Amazing RV & Cabin campground in Kamas, Utah. Easy access to the park, right along the Provo River. The roads are always kept clear in the winter and it's so beautiful in the summer. Great staff, very friendly and very clean!

So much beautiful scenery and very quiet.

Me and my family love Knotty Pine! Location is phenomenal with a river for our back yard. Daily, whether on my drive or at the site, I see beautiful animals. Great access and great people! The camp host Tracy is an amazing host who always texts updates on weather and helping ensure an enjoyable stay. Out of all our campgrounds we've been too this one has been our favorite!
