Located off Highway 140 15 miles west of Klamath Falls.
Decently maintained dirt road (our car did fine). Absolutely beautiful. Outhouse. No services.
Fyi: Verizon had coverage, No TMobile coverage.
This place is amazing a lot of people camp in the bend but if you go past the bend there is quite a few hardly use campsites on there fire Rings Vault toilets the fishing is great people are nice it's an amazing place I had lots of fun here there can be quite a few gnats in Spring but otherwise this is a dream come true place to visit enjoy
If you have a boat, then here is a launch. It appears that the water pump was not working because of vandalism so bring your own. The water in this part of the lake (September) was murky and there was a prevalence of non-biting insects, spiders and lots of birds too. We drove down the very very bumpy dirt road to the end of the peninsula to get to the primitive campgrounds. It was a beautiful spot, in spite of the overflowing garbage cans and run down outhouses, watch out for the yellow jackets. The location is beautiful and unique but it could use a little less vandalism and more TLC.
