From Lakeview travel east on Hwy 140 for 8 miles, then turn left on Forest Road 3615. Go on Forest Road 3615 for 7 miles and you will see the entrance sign.
Probably the best campground in the area, though Twin Springs to the south is nice. Great view of the meadow with fish jumping in the creek. Saw some rare birds here, including a Western Tanager.
WOW. This place was great. The people were as sweet as can be and made you feel right at home. BISCUITS AND GRAVY FOR BREAKFAST! Yes! They have breakfast. They also had clean bathroom facilities that looked like they were being taken care of everyday! There is a lot of space and a huge fire pit to go around and meet other campers:) 10/10 recommend!!
Only about 8 spots. Vaulted toilets. Cows everywhere!
No indication as of August '21 that a fee is required
There were no other sites occupied and I can see why. Mosquitoes and noseums are rampant. There were swarms hovering eveywhere. Most of the campsites had no adequate place to pitch a tent. If you go, bring lots of citronella candles.
Small campground hust off the paved road. It is a tight fit. There is one pull thru site but is unlevel. Bathroom pretty smelly. Nice little creek and meadow area near by.
