I was traveling through the area on business and thought I would try something different from the stale hotel scene. The owners Larry and Tammi were so nice and the cabin overlooking the river was just what I needed. They offered me one of their kayaks at no charge and gave me good fishing advice. The price was less than half of what I pay to stay in hotels and the atmosphere is priceless. I wish I could have stayed for a week. This will be my go to place every time I'm in the area.

Had our “family reunion/float trip” here this weekend. Our family rented 5 cabins, 1 camper site, 3 rafts and 1 canoe. I agree with other reviews about rafts. One was covered in tar. They need to replace them. We constantly had to empty water out of our rafts. Our cabin was extremely dirty. Covered in cobwebs and spiders. First night I had to clean before feeling comfortable using the cabin. We never did use our back porch because the chairs, tables, and couch were in such bad shape. You can’t secure cabins properly. Although they give you a key and there are locks on doors, they pop open easily and after returning from our float, 2 of our cabins back doors were wide open. We all luckily had secured our valuables in our vehicles. Overall, the price of the cabins and rafts do not meet up with the quality. You are basically camping in the middle of a worn down neighborhood and the owners are not very friendly. We were hoping to find a location we loved so we would have a “go to” place each year for our family float but this is not the place.

The features are dated and the shower is small but I still loved it. The cabin was spotless and smelled fresh. The view of the river from the enclosed back porch was beautiful. The bed was one of most comfortable that I have ever slept on. We had a wonderful weekend.

The cabins are cozy and comfortable! We stayed in Cabin 7 and it was great for us! There's 2 double beds, a full kitchenette, a private bathroom with a personal shower. The River is only a few steps away which makes it great if you have the whole family there and then at night, it's the perfect spot to star watch! My teens love it there (14, 16 and 19) We always enjoy our stay there! Can't wait to go back!!

Stay somewhere else. Cabins are extremely dirty and lots of bugs. Shower is too small and might be too difficult to use if you have disabilities. Cabins should be upgraded and wifi should at the very least be added so you can have better contact with family members.
