Owner Mike is a really nice guy. He is very informative on the area. Nice quiet place, lots of trees and shade. Monica makes the most delicious soap and a variety scents. I'm very happy we stayed there.

Fairly convenient location to Gainesville. Excellent place for fishing, quiet, natural, restful. Not at all like the crowded high end campgrounds. Neighbors were very quiet. Beautiful river and proximity to lake.

I don't know if they were the owners or managers but the man/woman onsite were very nice and we enjoyed meeting them. But in all honesty the place is sort of a dump. If you have low standards, then it might be right for you. We won't be back.

This is a great place. We've stayed there twice and will be back again the next time we're down that way. Mike and Monica are wonderful. Very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. The campground is extremely peaceful. It's NOT a stupid resort trying to be all things to all people. It's a secluded place in the pines, along a river, where one can relax and get a good night's sleep. A great value.

These people were so nice and had no issue with accommodating our late arrival and even allowed us to stay later than the 2pm check- out time. Very grateful. The camp site is on the smaller side, but so central Florida beautiful. Alligators can be seen at night in the water next to the camp. We will stay here again. (42ft RV)
