About Campground

Airport Park Campground is conveniently located adjacent to US-81 Highway, on the south side of Concordia. The campground is a 1st come, 1st served basis and a fee-by-donation campsite for a stay up to 7 days. Two spots are designated as long term camping and can be reserved for up to 8 weeks. A permit is required which can be obtained at City Hall, along with payment of $100 per week. Utilities are available all year round and open to guests 24 hours a day. The scenic & wooded camping area includes 12 pads with water and electric hookups and a dump station. Several other pads are available without utility hookups, and the site is ideal for tents. Restroom facilities are available. A picnic shelter, storm shelter, and playground are also adjacent to the campground. There is also a frisbee golf course and dog park located onsite.

Great big giant kudos to the city of Concordia!! Came in for an overnight stay and felt at home and comfortable in the first 5 minutes. Nice park, concrete slab spaces, 30 amp electric, water at most sites, clean and stocked bathrooms, AND SHADE!!! Park is on a donation basis. (I would suggest a $20 dollar donation per day. Don't be a tight wad, you'd pay three times that for half as much.) Beautifully kept.

What a great find, the folks of Concordia are treating travelers right. They have about 14 RV spots with electric and some water faucets and trees! There are also nice bathrooms. They only ask for a donation, so if you stop here make a reasonable donation.

Very nice campground. Tents welcome but you will need to get there early enough to get a pull through spot as the smaller spots back up to a steep drop - not enough flat land to pitch tent unless you want to be right next to the dumpster. Airplane park also has a kids playground, disc golf course, and 2 huge dog run areas. There is a big covered lunch area with mollusk fossils in the stone next to the playground.

Very nice campground. Donation based for the first week then permit required. Donations can be made in the iron ranger box located in the information shelter which contains rules of the campground information on eateries and activities Concordia has to offer. Small kids playground features a swing set, a teeter totter, a merry go round, and a shovel like toy to play with the sand. Disc golf course at the park. Picnic shelter has bbq grills as do some of the camp sites. Lots of grass kinda angled for tent camping but possible. Bathrooms are well kept, and stocked. Located next to campgrounds as well. There are 14 RV Spots. Also a fenced dog park

I spent the night here during my travels, it was a nice little spot. They provide bathrooms and Wi-Fi, although I didn't use them. The site had power and water, which were all I needed, along with a dump station. There is plenty of room to walk around, including a Frisbee golf course and a dog park. It's a donation-based campground with a convenient box in the information booth. I enjoyed my night, it was peaceful.
