From jct I-135 (N'bound-exit 10A; S'bound exit 10) & Hwy 96: Go 1 mi E on Hwy 96, then 1 block N on Hillside Rd, then 1 block W on 33rd St.
The staff at Walnut Grove was so friendly and accommodating- over the phone and upon arrival. I called the same day we were driving in and was happy they had a spot available.
We felt safe during our stay and had room to unhook our car from our tow dolly and back our rv into its spot.
Aesthetically, the campground has nothing to offer, however if you just need hook ups and want convenience into Overland Park or KC, it is perfect.
Extremely cramped. Not paved, we slid in the mud trying to get parked. Getting into your spot is extremely difficult. We had to back in down the whole road. Also they change your rate constantly.
Great little spot close to the city. Spots seems spacious to me but possibly tight for maneuvering. We had a pull through with it’s own driveway so super easy for us. Bathrooms were nice…clean and same for the laundry facility. Office has a small store with some necessities if needed. Very friendly and communicative management!
