When you visit Iron Springs these days, it’s hard to believe that it’s been in operation since the 1940’s. What was once a small 8 cabin, one lodge vacation property on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, grew into something special under the dedicated ownership of Olive Little. As the resort became more popular and families brought their kids and grandkids, Olive kept expanding, carefully considering the placement and orientation of each cabin to take the utmost advantage of views while providing a sense of seclusion. At the time of Olive’s passing almost 60 years later, the resort had grown in number of cabins and endless memories of friends and families, getaways and reunions, bonfires and clam digs were made. For several years the resort was in decline until purchased in early 2010 by new owners. An extensive restoration the following summer brought the property and cabins back to their original charm while adding some thoughtful updates. Whether it’s your first visit or your fourteenth family reunion (including the dogs), we hope you feel welcomed here at Iron Springs.
Amazing! This resort is beautiful!!! It was a last minute decision to stay for the night and we were having trouble finding a room (that wasn’t $300). We contacted this slightly out of the way resort to check availability and were able to book a room. The first thing we noticed when we arrived was the lack of city noise. It was so quiet and peaceful. The young woman who helped us, was kind, considerate and very helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Cedar City.
Really great staff, amenities, and sunsets! 100% would recommend for anyone looking for a quiet place to be, with some cool trails around it!
We attended the Starfall Ball hosted at Iron Springs and they were so kind to us all and even did fun things like smores and cocoa for us all before the event. The place was very clean and beautiful! Thank you for hosting this event we will be returning next year!
This little gem is the perfect spot when you just want to relax. I loved it here. They have 4 fire pits. You can drink your wine at night outside by the firepit. The following morning you can have a lite breakfest and enjoy the peaceful nature around.
Iron Springs Resort was a cute place. Very kind and helpful employees. The only issue I found was in the bathroom, when showering it was cold because there is no heater and the shower is open at the top so not even the heat from the water kept it warm. Besides that, it was a very enjoyable stay.
