This is a dispersed camping area.
We come back every year. Always a good time. Spots are well maintained and clean. No too far from home so good for a quick weekend getaway.
Meadows is my favorite place! Friendly, fun and beautiful. Listening to the river. Plus clean bathrooms. Well cared for.
I love this Campground but I hate that you have to reserve a campsite. You can only get one if you have lots of money when they open for reservations because they all get reserved up within a week. Then there are no more available
Had a great time camping. Nice camp spot. Not many people there even though spots were reserved. Clean, quiet. Doe strolled through to get a drink. Nice camp hosts.
Loved it here! My family had a great time and built new memories. The hosts were friendly. The bathrooms were clean and smelled good, for the most part, with air fresheners (of course you can't avoid when someone goes in and temporarily scents it for a few hours!) We didn't have any bear encounters. We walked to Upper Meadows from our site (in Lower Meadows) and it was a nice walk. The reservoir nearby was fun. We hiked and got a little rained on but it was so worth it! I love that it is dog-friendly, which is very important to us.
