Over populated, rude people walk right through your camp, very dirty and very dusty.

Pristine natural mountain lake. Many small streams flow in. Tranquil.

I took some time to go to Flaming Gorge to do a little fishing. I heard someone discussing Spirit Lake. I have not been there before. It is about 20 miles on a dirt road. I had a Jeep Cherokee so it did fine. The road is well mIntained, but could change quickly based on seasonal weather such as thunder storms. You will want to be prepared with snacks, water and appropriate clothing. The cell service is unreliable. This is a beautiful high elevation Alpine setting. I fished for a while and caught one and had a few bites. It is well worth the visit! Be safe!

Long drive on a hard-packed dirt road, but incredible views. Beautiful lake.

Gorgeous, remote location. Don't forget insect repellant. Available spots even on a holiday weekend. There are no reservations for the campground, first come. Fishing is awesome. Lake is a blast, no motorized so that makes it nice. The bathroom was out of toilet paper or it would get 5 stars. We will be back!
