So great to see ice cold clear water at the beginning of the Maquoketa River.
Trout fishing is very good here. You can see they've been making improvements to the park and the streams. Nice day trip for some fishing or Park activities. I believe they also allow primitive camping.
Great little slice of nature. Judging by the fishermen's catches we saw being hauled out of here, fishing appears to be quite good at times.
Beautiful park. Short trails with beautiful views. Perfect for a quick break from driving.
