Very nice campground. Very well kept. You can tell the owner takes pride in his place. JJ was very friendly and even shared some corn with us. I highly recommend this camp ground.
This place is great! First, the owners. So friendly and accommodating. We were booked for a month and JJ came to empty or tanks for us when it was needed. The full time seasonal campers are so friendly. Had so many stop and talk to us. We had a perfect site that was large enough for us to spread out. Yes, the highway is right by us, but it didn't bother us. The shower house was close to us and we could use that as we needed to. There is a nice playground for the kiddos. We would come back here time and time again. The campground is centrally located in Clayton County, near Pikes Peak. Effigy Mounds, McGregor and Guttenberg. A lot of activities to engage in. Great trout fishing streams near by.
