About Campground

**Overview:** **Spillway Campground** is a small campground with 3 campsites along Anderson Ranch Reservoir. The reservoir is a popular destination for fishing, boating, waterskiing and riding personal watercraft. There is excellent fishing in the reservoir for smallmouth bass and kokanee. Also try your luck at fly fishing just below the dam for a trout! Rafting access is at Reclamation Village, just south of the campground.

Directions

From Mountain Home, Idaho travel northeast 21 miles along State Highway 20 to the Forest Service road 134 turnoff.

Take the Forest Service road 134 north approximately 6 miles to the Anderson Ranch Dam and Spillway Campground is a stone's throw from the Dam.

It was such a beautiful and peaceful place (last year) that I look forward to camping there again in about a week. I think it will be a great location to film wildlife with a thermal camera. If I see anything interesting I'll post it on YouTube.

Quiet spot with beautiful views. Access to the water for a cool down or launch of a canoe or kayak. No cell phone service.

Great location for water access. Bathrooms available but bring your own TP!

Arrive fast to secure location, it is popular on the weekends.

Lots of great birds in the area from turkeys to eagles and vultures. Not a ton of trails close by but you can get to them with a little travel.
