Access to Upper Hazard Lake, popular for hiking, mountain bikes and two-wheel motorcycles
From McCall, Idaho, take Highway 55 north toward New Meadows. After 4 miles turn left onto Forest Road 257 and follow signs toward Brundage Mountain Resort, Goose Lake and Hazard Lake. After the road turns to gravel continue for 22 miles up to the lake.
Great place to camp!(: There are bathrooms nearby which is nice, but sometimes they can get pretty smelly. This lake is about a mile and a half out from the campsite, and there is another lake half a mile away from that one. The hikes are pretty easy, just long. Super pretty and a calm atmosphere.
Super quiet area, beautiful lake. A nice drive up if you aren't afraid of a little dirt.
