This campground is located adjacent to the Secesh River and offers beautiful river views. There are eleven camp sites, drinking water, fire-pits, tables, toilets, pack in/pack out. There is fishing and trail access. Please pack out your own trash. No hook-ups.
In Cascade, ID, at the intersection of State Rt. 55 and Warm Lake Rd., take Warm Lake Rd. east 24.3 miles to Yellow Pine sign. Turn left after sign onto a paved, single-lane road (with turnouts) and go 28.9 miles to campground sign. Turn right at sign into campground.
Stayed here one night. Great place.
Very quiet and peaceful - it was a weeknight and only one other site was occupied.
The pit toilets were clean and had plenty of toilet paper.
There were 2 water spigots, but no water. (i.e. bring your own or have a filter to get stream water)
No animals around to try to steal food (like encountered at other campsites)
