Cedars campground has five developed campsites situated alongside the North Fork of the Clearwater River and Long Creek. A loop of the Idaho Centennial Trail passes by the campground, and other hiking/horse riding trails are nearby. Anglers will also love this spot as trout are abundant.
Beautiful spot! Right by the river with such a beautiful view. There's a few generously-sized campsites (I think 6 total) with fire pits and picnic tables. We had a such a relaxing time camping here for a couple days with our family. FYI: there's a single platform toilet, but no running water at this campground.
A very nice getaway. The road is wash-boardy and it’s a dusty ride. If you don’t mind that, it’s fine. I would not recommend a Class A size RV in the campground as the road within the campground is rough in spots with limited space to turnaround. I had no problem with my 25ft Class C with a 6” lift, pulling a 10ft trailer. The road from Cedars south to Kelly’s Fork is quite narrow in spots, not allowing passing of other vehicles, but otherwise I made it through. The road in from Superior only has a couple of narrow spots.
