My cabin was beyond what I expected, I loved It. It was cozy, comfortable with lots of little extras that you don't normally get at most places. The bed was very comfortable, the soap and linens had the best smell. Very clean and up to date decor. Quite with a spectacular view of the river. I’d definitely stay again!
We stayed in one of the smaller Cabins (#3) which has a nice view of the river from the window. We could even hear the river (though water levels were quite high during our stay at the end of May, not sure if this is always the case). Very clean and comfortably furnished. Lots of thoughtful touches, like salt and pepper shakers by the microwave. We loved spending time on the community picnic table on the banks of the river. Host Lori was delightful. We can't wait to come back on our next trip to the Idaho panhandle.
We camped at the RV park. The RV area is right next to the river with great views. Nice hookups. The only negative would be that the sites are very close to each other. It wasn't crowded when we were there in first part of August.
I almost don't want to write a raving review because then we'll have to share this hidden gem with more people.
The cabins are very comfortable and are in a beautiful location. The hosts are incredibly friendly and check in to make sure you have what you need to make your stay enjoyable. Also, the owner was very communicative and quick to reply when we booked our stay and made last minute modifications later.
The camp host and owner are very accommodating and gracious. We were able to upgrade to a bigger cabin last minute so our adult daughter and granddaughter could stay with us. Cabin 5 is very nice and includes a rainfall shower, dishes, and everything you could need during your stay. It also has a very large porch to enjoy the evenings. We highly recommend Cabins by the Joe!
