Very nice and rustic, chunk of unspoiled wilderness. There are several campsites but you have to walk half a mile to get into them.

Great outdoor area with lots of camp sites. Fishing can be good, but just depends on the day. All in all it's a nice preserved spot to spend a day hiking/camping/fishing!

Beautiful, memorable snowshoe hike 2/23/19.. Quite knowledgeable, friendly, informative guide. We saw fox tracks where it pounced into the snow after a mouse, a buck rub, and a bald eagle's nest, and lots more all within a mile. Lots of snowshoes to borrow. Looking forward to going again soon, hiking and other events as well.
