We stopped in with our company from out of town. We got a few appetizers that were outstanding. Personal was very friendly and the service was great. The lodge was beautiful, and I can not not wait to go back.
Only went to the restaurant and am so glad we did. Absolutely delicious food and a great environment. Pizza, awesome. Burger, awesome. Fish sandwich, awesome. Hot chicken sandwich, awesome.
If up on the Gunflint Trail this is THE place to eat at. You don't need to be staying there to eat there, the restaurant will serve the public. Great views of Hungry Jack Lake out the back too.
Came here for a bite to eat on my way down from hiking a bit further up The Gunflint with a friend who lives in the area.
Absolutely wonderful sandwich and beer, and the atmosphere is extremely inviting and comfortable.

We stopped in after a morning of hiking to have a drink and appetizer. Bar tender, Kipper(?) was very nice and shared a lot of info about the area. We will definitely stop in during our next visit to the area and possibly stay on site. Highly recommend Hungry Jack anytime of the year.
