About Campground

Huck and Buck Farm is a small working farm to all visitors. We currently have chickens, geese, ducks and turkeys on the farm. There’s a small pond out back stocked with a few sunfish and maybe a snapping turtle. We grow vegetable and our hens produce a variety of fresh eggs. There’s a open grill for cooking and fresh water outdoors. Outdoor compost toilet is available. We have installed an outdoor shower which is available to guests. If you would like to accompany us and get a close up look at our farm, morning chores are at sunrise and sundown.

What a special place this is! Check in was a breeze. The ammenities are as listed and the bed is more comfortable than ours at home. The pictures dont do this place justice in describing how peaceful it was. Bathroom just a walk up the property. Andrea and her husband were for personable and helpful. Cant wait to come back and see what they have done with it!

Local fun things to do for day trips: dog fish brewery 1hr (so cool!) Bombay hook wildlife refuge 15 min- 4 dollar entry and some seriously good views. Crab du jour- delish crab boil (bib provided) 17 min. Lake Como- fresh water swimming hole to cool off if you get a 80+ day like we did!

Andrea was the absolute best host and their sites are a wonderful overnight stay. Kids and dogs are welcome there and it's a great way to take a peek into their farming lifestyle. They're more than happy to share it with you if you have any questions. Definitely purchase some fresh eggs and whatever else they provide you from their land!

Turkey, eggs, meat chicken and an experience of a lifetime! We loved our great big thanksgiving turkey! I was so excited to finally find a farmstead that had beautiful turkeys walking, talking and living in the sunshine, that I kept asking if I get have one for our Thanksgiving. Andrea said yes! Everyone was so happy to have a real turkey! Thank you for all that you do!

Glamping - my way of camping. We had a magical time at Huck and Buck Farm. Our little granddaughter enjoyed the farm animals and is still talking about them. Our tent was comfortable, the bed was cozy and the tent had many thoughtful touches like a mini fridge, quality sheets, pillows and towels and an conditioner. We enjoyed making dinner on an open fire and farm fresh eggs on the open fire for breakfast. Andrea and Michael were wonderfully attentive, kind and generous, and wanted to ensure we had a positive experience - which we did! The bathrooms were a short walk and were spotless and as stylish and presentable as a hotel bathroom. We will return and recommend you visit there too. We left with feeling of appreciation and gratitude.

I just want to thank Michael and Andrea Haritos for an awesome experience at the sprawling Huck and Buck farm! I participated in a CE event with other DE Realtors, but it was so much more than that! This City Girl was up close and personal with a couple of Potbelly pigs and a young KID while refreshing my knowledge of Ethics and Fair Housing Laws. I enjoyed Soul food and perfect weather on an oasis which is their home! I appreciate the hospitality and would recommend choosing this venue over any other continuing education event!
