Amazing! I've been here a lot to watch the eagles, but this was my first camping experience. There isn't a bad site in the park, all have ample room. I didn't use the bathrooms, but the park was very clean. And the bar/pub across the street has great food.

This Park which is on the Skagit river is best Place to camp, fish, boat, hike, bike, swim, watch wildlife, and picnic. The river offers fishing , boating and swimming opportunities. There are several hiking and biking trails in the park. One can watch 🦅 Eagles , deer 🦌 and various birds 🦢 in the park . Overall, Howard Miller Steelhead Park is a great place to spend time with loved ones .

I love this park. The sites are level and larger. The maintenance staff does a good job keeping the park clean. Come in November and enjoy the beautiful colors!

In the winter, dozens of bald eagles come to the Skagit River to feast upon the spawned out salmon. Our Scout troop had a wonderful time In drift boats on the Skagit River observing bald eagles, mergansers, Dippers, and belted kingfishers!

We enjoyed this little park. The camping was very nice. The sites are close but the angles mean you don't see much of your neighbors.

Would be 5 stars if the had full hook ups but only have water and electric, no sewer but there is a dump station on the way out for $5. Feels like a dump should be included with your stay.

The grounds were very clean as were the baths that had codes to use, so no day users.

Rich and Karen the camp hosts were great and checked us in quickly.

The site was clean and ready.

Very dog friendly and long as your dog is on a leash and even had bags so you can be a responsible dog owner and pick up after your pet.

They were also child friendly as long as your child was under your control and not running around the park.

There is a little trail there you can walk along the river and fishing was on fire even with a dry fly in July.

Most site were shaded or had some shade with a tree but check if you want shade or not and book a good site for your needs.

There is a bar and grill across the street that is great to grab breakfast and dinner to take with you if going into the national park and doing some adventures, we did several hikes and had dinner at the visitors center by ourselves.

Over all a nice week of adventures.
