Got to the trailhead at Logan Pass around 630am and it was filling up decently quick. I did this trail in late September and it definitely gets cold the higher you hike. This can be a pretty strenuous hike so bring plenty of water and be prepared. Definitely recommend this hike. If you're feeling up for it then head up the Garden Wall Trail turnoff to check out the Grinnell Glacier Overlook! Highline Trail is also a very popular trail so there'll be people around.

This is a very long trail if you want to do it all the way. But if you want to have a glimpse of it then you can do the first 3 miles and have an amazing experience. There is a narrow chain section part which is not that dangerous but is definitely sketchy. Along the trail, you get a view of the going to the sun road and the snow capped peaks of glacier. The road runs right below the trail and is just mesmerizing. You probably won't find any wild life in the first miles but it you do it all the way then you will encounter big horn sheep, marmots. Be sure to pack plenty of water, snacks and hiking poles. If you do not have enough time then atleast do the first 2-3 miles. I promise you, it is well worth it. The inclination isn't too hard.
