This place is a mess. We were double booked and there was no after-hours number to call. It has no wifi or cell coverage plus it's incredibly noisy. They advertise it as luxury accommodations but it is absolutely not. The 'private bath house' includes two rooms with a shower, toilet, and sink. That is it... 18 cabins with an average of 2 people each trying to use the showers and toilets. NO OTHER TOILETS unless you go to the Tavern that is only open certain times a day. Ridiculous. It is implied in the listing that you have wifi in your cabin/dome but that is not true. The Tavern is the only place with service.
The lady checking in before me had a reservation and an email confirmation but they couldn't find it. The lady that was double booked with us had a reservation the night before but when she arrived from Phoenix they told her it wasn't for tonight but tomorrow night, even though she had a confirmation email proving it. I would be very careful in trusting this operation.
I brought this up to them and they did nothing nor would they discount our stay. The stress and anxiety that is caused when we realized that we were double booked was awful. Plus the fact that the other guest was already treated horribly by them the night before.
And when I say it's noisy... it's awful... Trains, semis, and big trucks going by all night long. This is the worst lodging experience I've had. I would not book a place here unless you are desperate. Definitely not worth the price I paid.
On a positive note, the Tavern serves great Mexican food. The highlight of the stay.
Great stay! Stayed in cabin #7, with 2 beds and a bathroom. Great use of space, comfortable beds and nice towels. Restaurant had limited options, but had pizza and beer twice, perfect after hiking! Internet only available in The Tavern, but nice to disconnect.
This couldn't have been a more perfect family overnight! We spent time here with kids ages 8&9 and it really was perfect. The gathering of the cabins around the central fire meant that our kids met and played with the neighbor kids all evening and we had a nice time chatting with our fellow travelers. There was also live music, comfortable rooms, welcoming front porches...the only difficulty was a bit of confusion on finding someone to help us check in, but it was straightened out in ten minutes and the rest of our stay was fantastic. Highly recommended for families!
We searched and searched for a wonderful, affordable, pet friendly place to stay, while exploring Glacier National Park. Luckily, God had already figured out, the best place on the west side entrance. We called and the staff was friendly and accommodating, where others were not. This resort has everything, there’s a place to go fishing, that you can walk to. They have free firewood and a beautiful fire ring. Corn hole games, weights, lawn chess, horse shoes, picnic tables, outdoor chairs, a tavern and live music on Saturday. I would stay here , every time I visit this part of this Beautiful state. We’re from Indiana, the hospitality state. The folks here , at this resort, are amazing. They’ve made us feel like family from the time we got here!! Love Devin,Donna And Dave and the staff!! So much that, when I get back home. I’m going to start harvesting and storing my gardens and I’m sending it here to Miss Donna💕 Love you all! I give this place a 10 star rating!! Thanks for the hospitality
As a guy who made an impromptu decision to come up from Salt Lake City after the tourist season was over… this place was perfect. They weren’t even open when I arrived but came to assist me. I can’t speak highly enough for them. Cabin7 had two beds, a full bathroom, Wi-Fi, tv, a mini fridge and microwave. What more do you need? Someone referred to the trains… that lonesome sound is very majestical as it echos through the valley…i persona enjoyed it.
Thank y’all for the place to stay and for the cold beer on my last night!
You guys rock.
