We are a small family-owned park in the heart of Northern Michigan - located on Old US-27 between Frederic and Waters. We are less than an hour to most Northwest Michigan attractions. Found this place last minute. Very accommodating. Even woke up to a wood sign with our last name on it by the campsite. Showers were nice and the activities were fun and kept you busy. We will be back.
Camped there for 5 days, when we got there , there was a wooden plaque with our name on it. The owner took us for a ride on his golf cart and gave us a tour , including the access to 2 lakes. had a game area for the family, access to a grill and top notch customer service. what more can you ask for.
We WILL be back! Warm, welcoming hosts who gave us the grand tour of the grounds; small, well maintained, up and coming campground. Bailey Park was great for the kids to play at and a short trail walk to two "private" no-wake inland lakes. Bathhouse with flush toilets and shower. Near all sorts of attractions if you choose to day trip.
My family and I had been traveling all day from Ohio to Michigan, when we found this campground we were greeted immediately, and were shown to our site from one of the camp owners. The family is extremely kind and generous, we appreciated how much time they spent taking care of us at such a late time of night. My sister and I enjoyed the games and playground. Shower was warm and bathrooms were clean. I recommend choosing this campsite apart from many others. Thank you, and we send our best to the amazing family business.
Stayed for a weekend to enjoy some of the nature around Frederic. The weather was uncooperative for much of it but it was a wonderful stay. The owner was very friendly, answered all my questions and took me on a tour of the place. It's in an area with a lot of natural beauty. Campsites are nice and quiet, showers are piping hot! Couldn't ask for more. It's a great value.
