I stopped here and jogged around the lake several times. There was not much water in lake. I would stop here to sleep for the night in an RV. Most people would be disappointed in this place, tbh, but I liked the remoteness.
I have camped here twice and it is very peaceful. The lake has dried up, but the surrounding area is nice. There are pit toilet bathrooms, but no other services. Not everyone may like it, but there's a quiet beauty about the place.
Flat ground, a beat up latrine, pretty sunrises, and free primitive camping. The lake is kinda lame, but at night you can hear tons of wildlife. Nice little spot for a late night camping stop. Also google tries to take you on a bunch of side roads once you get there, so just stop at the entrance.
Nice quiet place to rest. Lake is all but dried up. Grasshoppers Kansas size abound.
