Half Shell offers numerous sites to choose from to make your RV home "long term" or for a long weekend or even a whole summer or winter. We have a boat ramp available for use as well. Located directly on the St. Johns River, only 5 miles south of Palatka, Florida on Highway 17.
The Half Shell Resort brings you back to the
peace and quiet of "Old Florida", but allows
you to have all the modern conveniences you
so enjoy of today. Gone are the days of the
river gas pump and the bait and snack shop,
but, the old Florida oaks, the abundance of fish,
the large boat dock, the amazing sunsets, and
the tranquility of the camp still remain.

I really love this quiet little resort on the St. John's River. The quiet location, large oaks with Spanish moss and sunsets on the river, make this one of my favorite places to have an extended stay. The wifi is fast and the management is very helpful and friendly.
I have lived here since May. Sandy and Tony have been very attentive and great hosts to me. The day before I moved into the park a Semi truck ran over my phone ( my neglect!, Nuff said 🤪). It cost me $$$$$ to replace. Sandy was very understanding and nice enough to work with me on the first months rent Thanks again Sandy😘). Tony Literally works All day Every day to improve the park, Thanks Tony🌪💪!
The other guests here have been great and soooo accepting. Its a pretty quite park for the most part, once in a while someone is having fun or getting together playing corn hole and whatnot and you’ll hear some music and laughing a going on. Some guy that lives here Loves music, every once in a while he comes home from work blasting music and singing (Ok, yep its me)The rates speak for themselves, very reasonable!!! Some have commented on the language barrier, with me its a chance to visit and learn from someone from a very different background and area. As with any park I have visited; every spot is different in size, like people-we are all not the same size LOL.

Beautiful place to stay and owners are so sweet and love the docks beautiful scenery also park has full hook up they have showers and bathrooms open24/7 laundry mat and owners I can't say enough are caring and always so sweet & helpful they treat you 😊 very good and they all keep everything things so nice and clean good place to stay short term or long term and I have teenagers boys that really like it they like to to fishing on the dock
