Don’t park any bus over 35 ft at site 186, bushes on drivers side will scratch your drivers side. Wooden pergola on passenger side limits turn radius, thus, no way to park here!
Ladies at the front desk were quick to change my site though.
An old park that is very crowded, not much upkeep visible. Very tight spaces to maneuver a big bus in.
Not looking forward to compounding out the scratches on drivers side, probably a few hours work.
Location is excellent. Walk to the beach. I agree with other reviews not to bring in anything over 35'. We have lots of scratches from palm trees.
Bathrooms clean.
Everything else
is old and run down. Rusty and very stinky near the bathhouse
I would not return.
We stayed at this rv park for 3 nights. The site itself was concrete and was level. That was good. BUT, we paid over 100 dollars a night and the amenities were pathetic. They advertised pickleball, shuffleboard and 2pools. The large pool was closed for renovation. That was fine. We went to play pickleball and shuffleboard. There were 2pickleboard courts. One was not in great shape but usable. The other was cracked and full of debris. It was hazardous. Since the pool was closed you had to walk a block down the street to get around to the court. The shuffleboard courts were there also, but totally unusable. They were cracked, full of debris, and all the gates to enter were locked. The location was good, about 8 miles from St. Augustine.
It would have been worth about 40 dollars a night in the current condition. The management didn't seem overly concerned.
Location: Awesome location! There are many RV sites located along the beach. This aspect was so convenient for our family. The raised picnic area was so useful. The sites are quite next to each other. The facilities were well maintained. We used the laundry facility and it was well equipped. It had a change machine in case you need more coins. It was well lit and the washing/dryer machines worked very well. We did not use the pools. We preferred to use the beach.
Management: Rude and curt. A lose neutral wire blew the electrical circuit on our site. It burned our camper outlets too. We had to stay one night without electricity (no A/C, no lights...) Their emergency line was not working. They did not even apologize. The incident occurred at 6:40pm and we called immediately. In the morning, the repairman took about 30 minutes to repair. So had the emergency line worked, we would have had our electricity back in no time.
Recommendation: I recommend this place for the location but test the emergency line.
