Very nice place water, power and sewer not to mention fair WI-FI. Portapotties or $5 for the real thing.

Such a peaceful location to arrive in after a long drive south on the 395. The mature trees, babbling brook, and signing birds make it hard to leave. The town has some great antiques like OxBow. We will definitely make this our new spot.

We pulled in the park late and found an empty site for the night. The next morning we were able to play ball with the dogs on the beautiful lawn before heading out again for the rest of our adventure. Beautiful, smallish, quiet, well maintained park and grounds. We will definitely be back if in the area again. 🥰

Tenting Camp Ground provided water (100 yards) and 3 well maintained porta-potties (60 yards) and a picnic table for $10/night.

About 6 blocks and you're downtown John Day. So easy walking distance.
