Great campground! So clean and the showers were awesome. And nice to have a hot shower with great pressure after long day of traveling. The customer service was phenomenal! Rare quality these days and appreciated! Easy off and on location from the highway. If we are back this way, will definitely stay again! Thank you!’

Lori is very nice but she allows her dogs to wander throughout the campground many times a day. Her dogs attacked our dogs who we were walking on leashes. Our dogs were not barking when her dogs attacked. Our dogs were not the aggressors. This is not the first time this has happened. Other campers have had the same thing happen to their dogs. Her dogs should be leashed when outside

Respectfully,

The Kirbys

Just passing through and only stayed overnight, but immediately were surrounded by kindness. A friendly dog and a kitten came up to greet us right away! Easy check in, got help with hookups and even were provided with an adapter. Nice level sites, clean bathrooms. Cute gift shop. Really enjoyed chatting with the lady in the office (sorry didn’t ask for your name).Thank you for all your help.

Lori, the owner is a great host and animal lover. Thank you for your hospitality, it was great chatting with you at night on the bench while watching your playful kitten. Great location, right off 90, food within 5 min walk, gas station across the street. It was nice to relax after a long drive.

We had a reservation for this campground and had arranged even prior to reserving that we may need to arrive after the office closed. We travel with a child with significant medical issues and reliable arrival times aren't always in the books for us. This wasn't an issue for the campground at first and we did book a spot. On the day of arriving, they originally provided instructions for entering after hours but then multiple times attempted to convince us to take a different spot than the one we had reserved. We continually declined and by the third time of them attempting to get us to agree to move to a lower value spot, we said we'd take a refund if they weren't able to provide the reserved spot. They agreed but did originally attempt to give us only a partial refund for not providing the reserved spot. I didn't have a good feeling about this owner and whatever was happening with this situation so I sent a follow up email documenting our communications. Months later the refund still hadn't processed and when I called to inquire, she did originally say they had some trouble with some refunds processing like they should but then said if she was going to process a refund, she would have right then; despite the follow up email I sent and the peculiar details of this situation she refused to honor the refund they promised. She said she'd check with someone and call me back. I never heard from her again. I'd like to believe people but I don't believe this avoidance to refund is well-intentioned or honest. I wouldn't give this park my CC info again and I would go out of my way to stay with another host.
