Good for swimming, sun tanning, hiking and cliff jumping. Not enough parking, in the summer it's too crowded and parking becomes dangerous and stressful. Needs to be maintained better I pick up trash from other people all the time. Trails could be maintained better (some jagged rocks and fallen logs that could be dangerous for kids running down the trails at top speed πŸ˜…) bathrooms are unusable honestly so gross but I don't expect anything else from park bathrooms anymore. Just go pee before you leave the house. Love the pebble beach and cliffs. Nice place to go and see how big Flathead lake is. Really beautiful in the fall and winter when nobody else is there.

Visited to catch the sunset looking over Kalispell. Watched planes take off/land at the regional airport. Saw a hot air balloon in the distance. Used the map on a display board to locate points of interest. Viewed those close-up with the tourist scope (bring quarters). Made silly hand shadows against the wall. Sun sets from behind while facing the city and darkens different areas of the city according to the topography of the mountain. Sunlight changes hue. Lovely area. Need to be able to handle slight inclines/steps as the path leads to/from the parking lot.

The boy who loves freedom

Gorgeous lake and park. Very clean. Must visit if you are in Montana. Park fee is $8 per vehicle but it gives you access to all parks around the lake. Great place for camping, water activities and photo opportunities. Restrooms are available at all parks and plenty of parking. Would definitely go there again. It can take the whole day to cover all the parks around the lake.

Nice spot to camp and swim near Bigfork, Montana. If you have a Montana license plate you can use the park for the day free otherwise it’s a fee to enter. Good amount of boat traffic at the boat launch. Not the quietest beach spot in the area by any means. Usually has a good amount of people soaking up the sun during the summer months. Afterward I highly recommend heading across the road for a burger at Burger town.

The lake is clean and clear but like I said before there usually are a lot of boats coming in and out of the boat access.
