Clean room and nice space to relax. Comfy beds and a nice shower. Definitely a great place to stay if you're in the area or wanting to spend time on the casino floor.

Honestly it would be a 1 star rating if it wasn't for the view.

We were given the wrong room and weren't allowed to get the room we reserved. The room didn't even have a microwave.

We asked that they at least accommodate us or give us something for not giving us our suite. They said your still on the lake side, so stop complaining.

The front desk girl was not helpful at all and was barely ever at her desk when we repeatedly couldn't get into our room.

Just wasn't a very professional staff outside of security.

The stay didn't feel very welcoming.

Also the restaurant had so many flies while we were eating it was ridiculous.

And they always closed at 8pm, so when you were done hiking for the day, you couldn't get food.

It's what I would expect for a casino lodge. Their restaurant needs more attention. There's nothing else in the area, so this is the only option for food if you don't want to drive 30 minutes to Grand Marais. The fridge in the room is also way to tiny to keep anything you purchase at the trading post across the street (Our water bottles didn't even fit). At their restaurant, we waited in a line of only 7 people (With no one in the restaurant and staff ignoring everyone) for 15 minutes before we decided to take the drive. We got back after about 2 hours total and people who were waiting in front of us were just leaving the dining area.

I stayed here for location for business purposes, first room I was in had bed bugs and was not clean almost as if they didn't clean it for the next person. I complained was given another room which was better however all the outlets were worn out couldn't even charge my devices completely until I moved the furniture in the room to find outlets much better than the ones your expected to use. Bathrooms don't even have ventilation black mold showing above shower area. Absolutely disgusting place to stay would not recommend at all. Drive 30 something more miles and stay in Grand Marais it's worth the extra gas.

Rooms are nice but a bit older, windows had clothes layer out to help with water I guess. Fridge wasn't working, I pulled it out moved it around them it started working again. So that was a win. Staff were all pleasant and easy going. Young girl serving the restaurant needs some training, but she is young and learning still. Casino needs some card tables. But still a nice place for a little getaway with the hubby.
