The campground will soon have 14 electrical sites with full hookups. Currently there is a fee of $25.00 per night for the electrical sites, which includes free WiFi. The City allows extended stays at the campground if prior arrangements have been made with the campground host. The long-term rate is $20.00 (7 days or more with reservation and prepaid). There is a charge of $5.00 per site for an additional tent and a $5.00 charge for waste tank dumping. The dump station will be locked and the campground host will have the key. These amenities are looked after by the world’s largest statue of the Green Giant. Additional information on the campground can be found here. We stayed here last night as a stop over. This is a perfect little spot. It costs $25/night. They have the campground settled at the back of the fairgrounds. The sites are all gravel and level. There is electricity, water, and sewer at each site. There is also a shower house. The entire park is very well maintained with a paved walking path. They have a camp host on site, and she is so pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend Blue Earth City Campground.
We really enjoyed our stay here! The camp manager was very nice and helpful getting the reservation set up. The prices are super reasonable. We didn’t stay long at all, we were traveling home to Indiana from Wyoming so it was a quick overnight stop. The hookups were so handy and well placed, the bathrooms were really nice and tidy, and the camp itself was very easy to find! It’s a very nice little campground.

We stayed here multiple times, nice easy one-off hwy with stores & restaurants near by. this is part of the fairgrounds with giant 100yr old trees, some neat history & buildings, play grounds & a nice bathroom - shower house. we are staying again
