In New Ulm, follow Broadway (State Highway 15) to 10th Street South. Proceed west on 10th Street South up the hill to Summit Avenue. Then turn left heading south and proceed three blocks to the park entrance which will be on the right (west) side of Summit Avenue. Park entrance is right next to the New Ulm Country Club.
This is a small but well kept park. It has a man made swim hole but the water was very low due to the drought. And nobody was in it. The hiking paths are lovely there's many to take but they're not very clearly marked. I suggest you get a map at the service center to help you find your way. The water in the river was very low as well due to our drought . The park was not crowded at all though Just a few people. There is one path you can even take your dog on near the swimming pool.
